A Trip To Storybrooke

ABC’s Once Upon A Time is based on a modern fairytale, which stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison. If you have seen a few of their episodes, you will notice that they have been filming in Vancouver, BC!

Even though they have spent most of the Summer filming the series, there are still fragments of the set left in Steveston in the south of Richmond. Moncton Street is the main site of the filming. As you are walking down the street you will see some vaguely familiar landmarks such as Grannys and little remnants of where they filmed. If you are ever in the area, its really cool to just walk around and try to spot where they filmed.

Have you seen them filming anywhere else in Vancouver?

Romania Country Bread was transformed into Storybrooke Country Bread. The shop is still open, so you can go inside to try some of their rustic homemade bread. It’s temporary, but the film crews have left it up for now.

Across the street is the gas station! If you watched episode 7, you know a little smoochy smoochy happens here. teehehe.

Mr. Gold Pawnbroker set is still up too! Lots of interesting plot twists happen here.

They must film inside since all the windows were covered up with tarps.
