Cake mix is great. Just not when you have a hankering for cookies. Thankfully, there is a solution. Transform any cake mix you have into the cookies you want with a few simple additions. The beauty of this recipe, aside from its ridiculous simplicity, is that the flavour possibilities are endless. Any cake mix works with this formula. Pictured above is a chocolate cake mixed with chocolate chips.
What you need:
- Cake mix (any cake mix flavour you want)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of anything you feel like adding (nuts, chocolate chips, whatever)
- Optional splash of vanilla
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together all the ingredients. Spoon balls of the cookie dough onto an ungreased cooking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes then transfer onto a wire rack. Grab a glass of milk and enjoy!
