Recultured is the blogging project of The Social Media Network. How addicted are you to social media?

I use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr. I check my Twitter the most for news and traffic reports, and my Facebook mainly as a communication tool with my friends and family in the Philippines. I’d say I’m pretty addicted mostly to Tumblr, since I always have a Tumblr tab open on my browser and on my phone.

#1 tip for first-years in college/university?

Don’t skip lectures. Please. Don’t.

Why do you write?

I think that writing is a higher form of existence; when we write, we share a part of our existence, not just passively existing for the sake of it. That’s the power of story-telling, the act of partaking with the narration of life.

…or just because writing is so awesome, just like honey badgers.

Recommend one Recultured article written by someone else, and one by yourself.

Lastly, it’s Recultured’s 2nd birthday, what kind of cake would you like?

Blueberry cheesecake!
