Recultured is the blogging project of The Social Media Network. How addicted are you to social media?

There is never a day that goes by where I don’t use social media. I don’t check Facebook or Twitter right away when I wake up, but I would definitely say it gets checked multiple times throughout the day…during class. I mean, what else am I supposed to be doing during in class? Pay attention to what’s being taught? Yeah, right.

#1 tip for first-years in college/university?

Join a club. There are few things you can’t do with a good support system.

Why do you write?

I write because it’s just another way to express my thoughts and ideas. Besides academic writing, writing for Recultured is a way for me to exercise and put my creative juices to work.

Recommend one Recultured article written by someone else, and one by yourself.

Lastly, it’s Recultured’s 2nd birthday, what kind of cake would you like?
