Tape Street Art: A New Form of Street Art

bad-news-

Tape street art, a new form of art introduced by Max Zorn, is simple and straightforward. All you need is plexi-glass, brown packaging tapes, a pair of scalpels (a kind of cutter) and good climbing skills. Dazzled by the warm lighting of street lamps in Amsterdem, Zorn took the traditional form of tape art and sticked them onto the lights.

As the light illuminates, the layers of tape becomes a glowing piece of artwork with sepia-toned shadings.

This new form of street art can be spotted on the streets of European countries such as Germany, Spain and London.

Do you think tape art will become something big in Vancouver?

Here’s Max Zorn demonstrating how the art works are posted on the street lamps.
